Ewing Public Schools announces a vacancy for an Assistant to Director for the Musical Production.
- Working with the Artistic Director to ensure lighting, sound and set capabilities match the requirements of the musical;
- Following standards set by the Artistic Director, holding auditions for the crew and providing training for all student members;
- Managing all aspects of the crew;
- Writing and programming all lighting cues as required;
- Obtaining all training necessary to be able to operate the lighting and sound equipment;
- Charging and setting up all microphones for rehearsals and public performances;
- Overseeing all student work on lighting and sound during rehearsals and public performances;
- Coordinating timing and stage cues for all actors, organizing backstage crew and sound/lighting crew.
- Perform all costume fitting, sizing, makeup and accessorizing for all stage performers
- Give all costume requirements to the artistic director so an accurate order may be made and received in time for dress rehearsals.
