Scaffolding Estimator

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans, specifications, and project requirements to determine scaffolding needs.
• Prepare accurate estimates for scaffolding equipment, materials, labor, and related services.
• Perform material takeoffs for conventional, system, and specialty scaffolding projects.
• Evaluate project access requirements, site conditions, and installation challenges.
• Prepare professional proposals, bids, and change order estimates.
• Communicate with general contractors, customers, project managers, and field personnel.
• Coordinate with operations personnel to ensure estimates reflect practical installation methods and equipment availability.
• Track bid opportunities, maintain estimating records, and follow up on submitted proposals.
• Assist with project planning and coordination as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in construction estimating, scaffolding, or a related construction field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of scaffolding systems and construction practices is a plus.
• Experience with estimating or scaffolding design software is beneficial.
• Valid driver's license for occasional jobsite visits.
