    Description

    • Perform SCADA system installations, testing, and commissioning for electrical utility and industrial projects.
    • Configure SCADA platforms (e.g., GE iFix, Wonderware, Ignition, Siemens, ABB) and integrate field devices such as RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, IEDs, and protection relays.
    • perform site inspections, equipment verification, and point-to-point testing.
    • Develop and review SCADA system design documents, data maps, and interface specifications.
    • Troubleshoot SCADA communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850, etc.) and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
    • Support SCADA system upgrades, maintenance, and cybersecurity requirements.
    • Provide site training and technical support to end-users and stakeholders.
    • Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation and testing records.
    • Coordinate with engineering staff and stakeholders to ensure SCADA systems meet operational, safety, and quality requirements.


    Requirements

    • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
    • 3–5 years of experience working with SCADA systems, RTUs, PLCs, and communication protocols.
    • Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms, industrial communication protocols, and electrical protection and control.
    • Hands-on experience with SCADA commissioning, configuration, and site testing.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices for SCADA and ICS environments.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
    • ​Willingness to travel to site as required.

    · Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam.

    · Must have a valid driver’s license.

    · Must be available for regular overnight domestic travel and occasional international travel (Canada, USA, Mexico)

    · Must have a valid passport.
