Description
SCA Construction Superintendent
As SCA Construction Superintendent, you will:
- Manage all onsite construction activities from start to completion
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Ensure compliance with SCA requirements, project specifications, and NYC building codes
- Maintain and update project schedules to achieve key milestones
- Coordinate work in occupied school facilities with minimal disruption
- Enforce site safety programs and OSHA regulations
- Conduct quality control inspections and monitor workmanship
- Lead subcontractor meetings and daily site coordination
- Collaborate with Project Managers, SCA representatives, school administrators, and stakeholders
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, and workforce planning
- Resolve field issues proactively to maintain budget and schedule objectives

An ideal SCA Construction Superintendent candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience on SCA or public-sector construction projects
- Experience working in occupied educational facilities
- Strong understanding of SCA protocols and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of construction scheduling, site logistics, and quality control
- Proven leadership and subcontractor management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Experience with renovation and modernization projects preferred
