Saw & Vacuum Form Operator
Set up and operate machine tools such as vacuum box or friction saw to form and/or cut metallic and nonmetallic work pieces to blueprint tolerance. Duties will vary to the assigned machine or task.

Job Summary
Vacuum Forming - sets up and operates vacuum press to form sheet metal into structural shapes.
Loads and unloads parts and dies into vacuum press.
Starts and stops chart recorder that records time and temperature.
Obtains quality buyoff on parts and chart record.
Checks own work and takes first part to quality inspection.
Able to adjust process for additional parts to keep within control limits for SPC as needed.
Collects SPC data according to the control plan attached to the work order.
Cross trained in Blast dept.
Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
Other duties as assigned.
