About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Saw Operator workers for a metal fabrication company in Rogers, MN. In this role, you’ll operate industrial saws to produce precise aluminum parts and support a quality-driven production environment. If you enjoy hands-on work and working with machinery in a fast-paced setting, this job could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do as a Saw Operator:- Operate CNC and manual saws to cut aluminum panels and extrusions to precise measurements
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and cut lists
- Measure and mark materials using tape measures, calipers, and other tools
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols
- Perform routine saw maintenance and report equipment issues
What You Need to Bring to the Saw Operator Role:- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience operating industrial saws in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift experience is a plus
