You'll work closely with your team to ensure precision cutting of various materials, helping deliver high-quality products to customers every day.
What You'll Do
As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for:
Operating band saws, including one manual and one automatic model, to cut materials accurately and efficiently.
Cutting tubing ranging from 3" to 16" in diameter, including angle iron and other metal components.
Performing routine adjustments and ensuring saws are properly maintained for optimal performance.
Inspecting finished cuts for quality compliance and communicating any issues to supervisors.
Keeping your work area clean and organized to promote safety and productivity.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous saw operation experience, especially with band saws.
The ability to stand for most of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow safety guidelines at all times.
