Description
We are seeking a reliable Saw Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate has strong measurement skills and is comfortable operating overhead cranes in a physically demanding shop environment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate saw equipment to cut metal materials to specification
Accurately measure materials using a tape measure to meet project tolerances
Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials and finished products
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed
Inspect cut materials for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with shop safety standards
Qualifications
Proficient in using a tape measure
Certified or experienced in operating overhead cranes (or willing to be trained/certified)
Experience running a metal saw preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment for extended periods
