In this hands-on role, you'll operate saw equipment to cut materials according to precise specifications and manage the movement of materials throughout our facility. Your accuracy, efficiency, and commitment to quality will help ensure smooth production flow and top-notch results.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate saw equipment to cut materials to exact measurements and specificationsSet up and adjust machine settings for accuracy and efficiencyInspect materials for quality and consistency before and after cuttingPerform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on saw equipmentSafely move materials to and from work areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or related equipmentMaintain organized inventory and material storage areasCollaborate with production team members to meet deadlines and daily goalsFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environmentRequired QualificationsProven experience as a Saw Operator in a manufacturing or production environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and precise measurementsExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipmentStrong attention to detail and focus on qualityAbility to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced settingPhysical ability to lift and move heavy materials safelyCommitment to following safety standards and company proceduresStrong attention to detail with a focus on quality controlAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPhysical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy materials safelyCommitment to following all safety guidelines and proceduresPreferred Qualifications:Certification or formal training in saw operation and material handlingHands-on experience with band saws and chop sawsValid Forklift CertificationKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn There is a background check and drug screening after acceptance of position and prior to starting.
