Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Specialist to support enterprise SAP systems and lead technical readiness for an upcoming S/4HANA migration. This role combines technical leadership, development oversight, and integration management, with a strong focus on aligning technology solutions to complex business processes in a global environment.
The position requires close collaboration with onsite business teams to ensure seamless integration across systems and effective delivery of mission-critical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical SME for SAP ABAP, architecture, and solution design
- Drive S/4HANA migration readiness, including custom code remediation and optimization
- Design, develop, and support integrations between SAP and non-ERP systems (APIs, IDocs, RFCs, middleware)
- Work closely with business stakeholders onsite to translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions
- Lead business integration efforts, ensuring consistent and reliable data flow across systems
- Enable backend services for Fiori applications using OData services
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, governance, and change management processes
- Support testing cycles, defect resolution, and post-migration stabilization
Required Skills
- 12+ years of experience in SAP ABAP and technical design
- Experience in S/4HANA migration or system transformation initiatives
- Strong expertise in SAP integrations with external systems
- Exposure to Fiori and OData services
- Proven ability to work closely with business stakeholders in a global/onsite environment
