An enterprise organization is seeking an SAP Tax Consultant in Parsippany, NJ to design, configure, and implement tax solutions within SAP S/4HANA Finance. This role focuses on supporting tax determination, reporting, compliance, and integration with external tax engines across complex financial and operational processes.

Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement tax solutions within SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Support end-to-end tax determination, calculation, reporting, and compliance processes.
- Extract, reconcile, and validate tax-sensitive data from SAP financial and asset-related modules.
- Support tax consolidation, statutory reporting, and alignment across finance and intercompany processes.
- Collaborate with Tax, Finance, Controlling, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and tax-related processes.
- Hands-on experience supporting direct tax, sales and use tax, property tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing processes.
- Experience reconciling tax data from GL, Fixed Assets, and intercompany postings.
- Experience supporting tax reporting, compliance, and audit-ready documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and executive presence for interaction with senior business leaders.
Desired Skills:
- Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with external tax engines such as Vertex.
- Familiarity with SAP PaPM or Alteryx.
- Experience with profit center accounting, margin analysis, and intercompany accounting.
