Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SRM Functional Consultant with 7+ years of SAP experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).

The consultant will support procurement and supplier management operations, providing L2/L3 functional support, enhancements, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of SAP SRM processes. The role involves working closely with business users, technical teams, SMEs, and vendors to ensure efficient procurement and supplier collaboration across global operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 support for SAP SRM incidents, service requests, and enhancements.
  • Support and optimize end-to-end procurement processes, including:
    • Shopping Carts
    • Purchase Orders
    • RFx / Strategic Sourcing
    • Supplier Management
    • Contract Management
    • Approval Workflows
    • Catalog Management
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective functional solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Support integration between SAP SRM, SAP ECC/S4HANA, SAP MM, FI/CO, and middleware platforms such as PI/PO/CPI.
  • Collaborate with business users, SMEs, ABAP developers, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Participate in SIT/UAT, release management, transport coordination, and production deployments.
  • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, SOPs, and knowledge-management documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance procurement efficiency and user experience.
  • Work in an AMS/support environment with incident, problem, and SLA-driven processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP SRM.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • SAP SRM Shopping Cart & Procurement
    • Strategic Sourcing & RFx
    • Supplier Management
    • Contract Management
    • Workflow & Approval Processes
    • Catalog Management
    • SAP MM Integration
  • Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Experience in AMS support, incident management, problem management, and SLA-driven environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL processes.
  • Experience working with ABAP, workflows, IDocs, RFCs, and interface troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Aerospace & Defense clients.
  • Experience supporting Boeing environments is a plus.
  • Exposure to SAP Ariba integration.
  • SAP SRM certification is an advantage.
  • Experience working in large-scale global support environments.
