SAP Project Manager

Program & Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end SAP projects and programs, including planning, execution, governance, delivery and hyper-care. Proven experience leading SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, or transformation programs.

SAP Project Manager
Location: Secaucus, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site 3 days per week at Secaucus, NJ office)
Contract: 6 months and extendable

Key Responsibilities:
Program & Project Leadership:

• Lead end-to-end SAP projects and programs, including planning, execution, governance, delivery and hyper-care.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and SAP solution delivery.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and project dependencies.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with executive leadership, business process owners, and IT teams to define project scope and objectives.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive status reviews.
• Communicate program status, risks, issues, and key decisions to leadership stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Retail functions.

SAP Delivery Oversight

• Coordinate activities across SAP functional, technical, integration, and infrastructure teams.
• Oversee SAP implementation, enhancement, upgrade, rollout, migration, and support initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to project governance, quality standards, and organizational methodologies.
• Manage third-party implementation partners and vendor relationships.

Risk & Change Management

• Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.
• Drive issue resolution and escalation management.
• Support organizational change management and user adoption activities.
• Ensure successful transition to production support teams.

Resource Management

• Track resource utilization and project performance metrics.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of SAP project delivery experience.
• Proven experience leading SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, or transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP landscapes
• Experience managing cross geo-system integrators and consulting partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong budget, risk, and governance management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within apparel, retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
• Experience with Agile, Hybrid Agile, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience managing global teams and offshore delivery models.
• Knowledge of integration platforms, data migration, and change management practices.
