Role Overview:
A Shop Quality Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, defining, and implementing manufacturing quality management requirements across receiving, production, and inventory processes. The role ensures that quality inspections, non-conformance management, rework, scrap, and quality approvals are properly integrated into SAP Quality Management (QM) and manufacturing workflows.
The candidate should understand regulated manufacturing environments, quality documentation, audit requirements, and formal approval processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7 12+ years of experience in SAP Quality Management or manufacturing quality processes.
• Strong functional experience with SAP QM.
• Experience implementing receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and non-conformance management.
• Knowledge of NCR, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), rework, scrap, and quality disposition.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing industries.
• Ability to gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications, conduct UAT, and coordinate implementation.
• Nuclear industry or nuclear quality program experience is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving Quality Inspection: Define and support incoming material inspection processes, inspection lots, quality checks, material acceptance, and rejection workflows.
• Non-Conformance Management: Manage requirements for identifying, documenting, tracking, and resolving non-conformances (NCRs), defects, and quality issues.
• Rework & Scrap Management: Define quality workflows for rework, repair, scrap disposition, material rejection, and corrective actions.
• Quality Records & Compliance: Ensure quality records, inspection results, approvals, and audit documentation comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Stop-Work & Quality Approvals: Coordinate stop-work requirements, quality holds, release approvals, and authorization workflows with quality owners.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Align SAP Quality Management processes with procurement, receiving, inventory, production planning, and manufacturing execution.
