Role: SAP PP QM Consultant
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Nashwauk, MN
Key Skills & Expertise
PP-QM Module Expertise
8-12 years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP (preferably S/4HANA) in PP and QM modules
Deep expertise in bill of materials (BOM) management and routing configurations
Strong experience in production planning, MRP, and production order processing
Proficiency in capacity planning and production scheduling methodologies
Hands-on experience with batch management and batch traceability
Solid understanding of quality planning, inspection procedures, and defect management
Knowledge of quality certificates, lot disposition, and product release processes
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Knowledge
Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations (2+ projects preferred)
Understanding of manufacturing execution capabilities in cloud environment
Familiarity with SAP Activate Framework and cloud deployment methodologies
Knowledge of IoT and Industry 4.0 integration for smart manufacturing
Technical & Functional Skills
Proficiency in SAP IMG (Implementation Guide) and Customizing for production and quality modules
Experience with BOM and routing master data migration and management
Strong understanding of integration patterns with materials management, warehouse, and financial systems
Hands-on experience with testing tools, defect management, and process documentation
Business Acumen & Consulting Skills
Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality management business processes across industries
Excellent ability to translate production requirements into technical manufacturing solutions
Experience leading production and quality requirements workshops and change management
Proven ability to work in agile and waterfall project methodologies
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, Business, IT, or related discipline
MBA preferred
SAP Certifications in S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) or Quality Management (QM) preferred
SAP Activate Certification strongly preferred
Quality management or manufacturing engineering certifications are advantageous
