Role Overview:
A Plant Maintenance Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, defining, and implementing plant maintenance and equipment management requirements using SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM). The role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration management, and compliance with regulated manufacturing requirements.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of plant maintenance operations, SAP PM processes, maintenance master data, and coordination with plant engineering and quality teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7 12+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management.
• Strong functional experience with SAP PM, preferably SAP S/4HANA Asset Management.
• Experience implementing preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
• Hands-on understanding of calibration management and measurement equipment.
• Experience with equipment master data, functional locations, maintenance plans, and work orders.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Ability to gather requirements, prepare functional specifications, conduct UAT, and support deployment

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Define and support preventive maintenance strategies, maintenance plans, schedules, task lists, and recurring maintenance activities.
• Corrective & Breakdown Maintenance: Manage maintenance notifications, breakdown requests, work orders, equipment repairs, and maintenance execution workflows.
• Calibration Management: Coordinate equipment calibration schedules, calibration plans, inspection records, measurement equipment tracking, and calibration compliance.
• Maintenance Master Data: Manage equipment master records, functional locations, maintenance BOMs, work centers, task lists, and maintenance strategies.
• Maintenance Workflows: Define workflows for maintenance requests, work order approvals, resource planning, spare parts management, and maintenance completion.
• Regulatory Compliance & Validation: Ensure maintenance and calibration records meet regulated manufacturing requirements, audit standards, and documentation controls.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Coordinate SAP PM processes with SAP QM, Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management, and manufacturing operations.
