Pay Range: $50 - $53/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.).
Key Responsibilities:- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements related to payroll and business processes.
- Work extensively with SAP Payroll / SAP HEC Payroll.
- Analyze information from multiple business and technical sources and translate it into clear functional requirements and documentation.
- Create and maintain business requirements, process flows, functional documentation, test plans, test scripts, and test results.
- Support testing of SAP Payroll and related downstream systems.
- Perform and support UAT, regression testing, functional testing, and implementation testing.
- Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track system and process issues.
- Support payroll system enhancements, implementations, automation initiatives, and business process improvements.
- Support interfaces and business processes impacting payroll and the General Ledger.
- Work with Payroll, Finance, Accounting, IT, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and communicate requirements, issues, testing results, and project updates.
- Assist with identifying and documenting internal controls in support of audit activities.
- Support initiatives involving payroll processes, pilot contracts, and flight-related business initiatives.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
- 3–5+ years of Payroll, Finance, Accounting, or related business systems experience.
- Hands-on SAP Payroll experience – REQUIRED.
- Experience with SAP HEC Payroll is strongly preferred.
- Experience with business systems analysis, requirements gathering, functional design, documentation, and process modeling.
- Experience with payroll system testing, validation, or implementation.
- Experience with UAT, regression testing, functional testing, or test script/test plan development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- SAP Payroll implementation or enhancement experience.
- SAP HCM Payroll experience.
- Experience supporting payroll interfaces and downstream financial systems.
- Experience with payroll-to-General-Ledger processes or reconciliations.
- Experience with payroll automation or business process re-engineering.
- Experience with UAT and regression testing in enterprise payroll environments.
- Experience documenting internal controls, SOX, audit, or compliance requirements.
- Experience working with or interpreting multiple labor agreements.
- Project coordination or project management experience.
- Experience working with third-party payroll vendors
