SAP P2P Consultant

Location: Richmond, VA – Hybrid

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant to support SAP implementations, rollouts, enhancement projects, and production support activities. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing procurement and payment processes while ensuring seamless integration with finance, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

Procure-to-Pay Process Management

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

• Design and configure end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

• Optimize procurement workflows and purchasing operations.

• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements.

• Support business stakeholders during SAP implementation and transformation initiatives.

• Configure and support procurement processes, including requisitions, purchasing, goods receipt, invoice verification, and payment-related activities.

• Ensure seamless integration between procurement, finance, inventory, and supply chain processes.

• Identify process gaps and provide functional recommendations aligned with SAP best practices.

• Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.

• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis.

• Prepare functional documentation and support knowledge transfer.

• Collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver effective SAP solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong functional experience with SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

• Strong understanding of SAP procurement and purchasing processes.

• Experience with SAP MM and related P2P functionality.

• Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, and SAP configuration.

• Experience conducting fit-gap analysis and business process assessments.

• Knowledge of integration between SAP Procurement, Finance, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain.

• Experience supporting SAP implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and production support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience with end-to-end P2P transformation initiatives.

• Experience with SAP integration and cross-functional business processes.

• Experience with testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
