We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP S/4HANA, and ABAP Development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-wide Master Data Governance solutions across Material, Business Partner, Supplier, Customer, and Finance domains.

The candidate should possess hands-on expertise in SAP MDG technical development, workflow configuration, BRF+, Data Replication Framework (DRF), SAP Fiori, integrations, and SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall SAP implementation and development experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP MDG Technical Development experience.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and migration projects.
• Extensive experience developing solutions in:
  • SAP MDG-M (Material Master)
  • SAP MDG-BP (Business Partner)
  • SAP MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor)
  • SAP MDG-C (Customer)
  • SAP MDG-F (Finance)
• Strong expertise in ABAP OO (Object-Oriented ABAP) development.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • BRF+ (Business Rule Framework Plus)
  • Workflow Configuration
  • Data Replication Framework (DRF)
  • BAdIs and Enhancements
  • Floorplan Manager (FPM)
  • SAP Fiori
  • CDS Views
  • OData Services
  • IDOCs
  • BAPIs
  • RFCs
• Experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Strong understanding of Master Data Governance principles, data quality, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

SAP MDG Development & Configuration

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP MDG solutions for Material, Business Partner, Supplier, Customer, and Finance master data.
• Configure MDG Data Models, Entity Types, Attributes, UI Components, and Change Request workflows.
• Develop validation, derivation, and business rules using BRF+.
• Configure governance workflows and approval processes.
• Implement and support Data Replication Framework (DRF) and master data synchronization.

Technical Development

• Develop custom solutions using ABAP OO.
• Create and enhance BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, CDS Views, OData Services, and custom APIs.
• Build and enhance SAP Fiori applications and MDG user interfaces.
• Develop interfaces using IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, SOAP/REST APIs, SAP CPI, and SAP Integration Suite.

Data Governance & Quality

• Implement enterprise master data governance standards and controls.
• Develop duplicate detection, validation, standardization, and data enrichment solutions.
• Support data quality initiatives and data stewardship processes.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise governance policies and best practices.

SAP S/4HANA Migration & Transformation

• Support ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation programs.
• Participate in data migration, cleansing, conversion, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and support solution design workshops.

Project Delivery & Support

• Prepare technical design documents and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
