Job Title: SAP Master Data Support Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months ++ (Possible Extension) Duties: SAP Master Data Support Analyst (Rebranding Program)
Position Summary: The SAP Master Data Support Analyst will support Solventum's raw material initiatives by creating, updating, and maintaining raw material master data within SAP. This role is responsible for executing material master data requests, documenting new processes, tracking operational metrics, and partnering with stakeholders to ensure requests are completed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes may still be evolving. This individual must be able to follow existing procedures while also developing new documentation where gaps exist.
Key Responsibilities SAP Master Data Management- Create and update Raw Material (ROH) records within SAP.
- Support material setup activities related to Solventum rebranding initiatives.
- Review material requests for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure data is entered and maintained in accordance with established business rules and governance standards.
- Assist with mass updates, data cleanup, and data validation activities.
Request & Ticket Management- Receive, prioritize, and process incoming master data requests.
- Track requests through completion and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Follow up with requestors to obtain missing information and resolve issues.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive tickets to closure.
- Escalate issues when necessary to prevent delays to business operations.
Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement- Maintain and improve existing documentation as processes evolve.
- Identify opportunities to streamline master data workflows and improve efficiency.
- Support knowledge transfer and training activities for internal stakeholders.
Metrics & Reporting- Track operational metrics including request volume, backlog, turnaround time, and completion rates.
- Develop reports and dashboards to monitor team performance and workload trends.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
Required Qualifications- Experience working with SAP, ERP systems, master data, data management, or similar business processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating or maintaining process documentation.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with SAP S4 HANA Material Master data.
- Experience supporting product lifecycle management, or supply chain operations.
- Experience with ticket management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience creating metrics reports or dashboards.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
