SAP IS-U Solution Architect

Our New Jersey based client is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Solution Architect  to join their project immediately and will run for 1 year, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience as a solution architect with end-to-end implementation experience in SAP Utilities greenfield implementations. The ability to lead the overall solution design and provide functional architecture support is required. Along with strong functional background in utilities business processes such as MIMO, AMI integration, Billing, Invoicing, Bill Print, and collections is essential. The candidate should be able to lead business process design workshops. This will be a primarily remote role; however, travel to the client one week per month is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for SAP Utilities greenfield implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Drive the overall solution design and provide functional architecture support across all phases of the implementation lifecycle.
• Apply strong functional expertise in utilities business processes, including MIMO, AMI integration, Billing, Invoicing, Bill Print, and Collections.
• Lead business process design workshops with client stakeholders to gather requirements, define process flows, and drive consensus on solutions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to identify risks, resolve issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide ongoing architectural guidance and support throughout the project, including travel to the client site one week per month as required.
