Core Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing.
• Deep functional expertise across the Meter-to-Cash lifecycle in the utility industry.
• Strong experience with electricity and gas utility billing processes.
• Expertise in configuring and customizing billing master data, including:
  • Billing schemas
  • Rate modeling
  • Complex billing
  • Regulated tariff models
  • Deregulated tariff models
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end billing and invoicing processes.
• Experience with:
  • Budget billing
  • RTP (Real-Time Pricing) billing
  • TOU (Time-of-Use) billing
  • Mass batch jobs
  • Exception management
  • Bill simulation
  • Unbilled revenue scenarios
  • Collective billing
• Working knowledge of SAP IS-U Bill Print.
• Experience with Print Workbench configuration.
• Experience integrating Print Workbench with:
  • Smart Forms
  • Adobe Forms
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of integration with:
  • Device Management
  • FICA

SAP S/4HANA & Integration

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities.
• Experience working with SAP Fiori.
• Ability to analyze, debug, and troubleshoot:
  • OData services
  • Web services
  • Integration interfaces
• Strong understanding of SAP Utilities architecture and integration points.
• Ability to design and develop complex functional solutions aligned with digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze customer business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into SAP IS-U billing solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing processes.
• Design solutions for complex billing and tariff requirements.
• Resolve defects and issues within defined SLA timelines.
• Analyze production issues and provide effective solutions.
• Provide functional solutions for enhancements and change requests.
• Perform bill simulation and investigate billing exceptions.
• Support batch billing jobs and mass processing activities.
• Analyze unbilled revenue scenarios and collective billing requirements.
• Support SAP IS-U Bill Print and related forms/integration.
• Prepare and update functional documentation.
• Facilitate solution discussions with business and IT stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Device Management, FICA, integration, and other cross-functional teams.
• Work collectively with the offshore development and support team.
• Support digital transformation initiatives through scalable SAP Utilities solutions.
• Guide customers and stakeholders on SAP best practices.

Experience & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing.
• Extensive functional and solution design experience in SAP Utilities.
• Strong utility industry experience, preferably across Electricity and Gas.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities and Fiori preferred.
• Experience working in client-facing and offshore delivery environments.
