Title: SAP IS-Retail Functional Consultant
Locations: Marlboro, MA
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $55 - $62/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP IS-Retail Functional Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in SAP Retail and strong knowledge of retail business processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Article Master Data, Listing & Assortments, Pricing, Retail Procurement, and Merchandise Management, along with integration knowledge of SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
The candidate will work closely with business users and technical teams to analyze retail requirements, configure SAP IS-Retail solutions, support integrations, and provide production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze retail business processes and requirements and translate them into effective SAP IS-Retail solutions.
- Configure and support SAP IS-Retail functionality, including:
- Article Master Data
- Merchandise Management
- Listing & Assortments
- Pricing & Promotions
- Retail Procurement
- Assortment Planning
- Work with integration points across SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
- Support integration between SAP Retail and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Manage retail master data including articles, sites, assortments, and related data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend functional solutions.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for development and enhancements.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement solutions.
- Participate in process improvements, enhancements, and SAP Retail implementation/support projects.
- Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, and other SAP functional teams.
Required Skills
SAP IS-Retail / Functional
- 8–10 years of experience in SAP Retail / SAP IS-Retail.
- Strong knowledge of SAP IS-Retail business processes.
- Hands-on experience with Article Master Data.
- Strong understanding of Listing & Assortments.
- Experience with Pricing Procedures and Promotions.
- Experience with Retail Procurement.
- Knowledge of Merchandise Management (MM) and Assortment Planning.
Integration
- Strong understanding of integration with SAP MM (Materials Management).
- Knowledge of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) integration.
- Familiarity with SAP FICO integration.
- Experience supporting POS integration is preferred.
Technical
- Basic ABAP debugging knowledge preferred.
- Understanding of SAP interfaces and integration concepts.
