Position Overview
E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP IQ Database Consultant to serve as technical lead for the IRS Compliance Data Warehouse (CDW)--a 10-petabyte enterprise data warehouse. You will provide technical leadership, mentoring, and strategic direction for database administration, data integration, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, and operational support of complex database solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to DBA teams and developers.
- Develop and enforce technical standards, operational procedures, and governance practices.
- Administer SAP IQ databases (Simplex/Multiplex) at enterprise scale.
- Design logical/physical data models and optimize database performance.
- Oversee ETL processes using SAP Data Services.
- Provide incident response, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Government stakeholders and multiple CDW contractors.
- Engage effectively with technical teams, management, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 15+ years progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise database environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead design, implementation, and operational support of complex database solutions.
- Proven experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and training.
- Experience developing and enforcing technical standards and governance practices.
- Extensive experience with SAP IQ products and SAP Data Services (ETL) .
Certifications
- SAP IQ Database Certification (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with U.S. Federal Government agencies.
- Experience with 10+ petabyte enterprise data warehouses.
- Experience with SAP Sybase IQ in a multiplex environment.
- Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows.
- Experience with SAN, remote mount points, file shares, and DAS.
- Knowledge of IRM security and compliance requirements.
