Position Overview:
  • Our client is seeking a skilled SAP IBP Implementation Engineer to join a leading manufacturing client's Agile-based product team. The role will involve working on user stories that include enhancements to the existing APO solution as well as implementing the new SAP IBP solution.
  • Our project team currently supports forecasting and sequencing functions within the SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimizer) suite. The future goal is to transition to SAP's next-generation forecasting tool, IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant SAP implementation experience in Supply Chain Planning, including hands-on experience with SAP IBP.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP IBP business processes and solution architecture.
  • Functional configuration and design experience with SAP IBP, specifically in the following modules:
    • SAP IBP Demand Planning.
    • SAP IBP Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Practical and technical knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration Data Services (CI-DS)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to gather and synthesize business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to work across multiple layers of the tech stack (e.g., batch job support, HANA view modifications, debugging, and issue analysis).
Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Experience with S/4HANA implementation.
  • SAP IBP Certification (preferred).
  • Ability to read ABAP code; ideally able to write ABAP for data extraction and support of current APO functionality.
  • Proven advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
