SAP IBP Functional Analyst Lead - Supply & Response / Inventory Optimization

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Lennox International is seeking an experienced SAP IBP Functional Analyst Lead to support and enhance its enterprise supply chain planning capabilities.
This individual will serve as a functional subject matter expert, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to implement, configure, optimize, and enhance SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions.
The primary focus is SAP IBP Supply & Response Planning, Inventory Optimization, and CPI-DS integration.
This is a hands-on functional leadership role requiring strong SAP IBP configuration experience, supply chain planning expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead SAP IBP implementation, configuration, and enhancement initiatives.
• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for SAP IBP Supply & Response Planning and Inventory Optimization.
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP IBP functionality.
• Support data integrations involving SAP IBP, CPI-DS, and related enterprise systems.
• Partner with supply chain and business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop SAP solutions.
• Analyze existing planning processes and recommend system and operational improvements.
• Develop functional specifications, solution designs, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams on testing, implementation, and system enhancements.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance on SAP IBP best practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise supply chain planning operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP IBP or comparable enterprise planning solutions, including substantial SAP IBP experience.
• 3–5 years of SAP ERP experience.
• Strong functional expertise in SAP IBP Supply & Response Planning.
• Hands-on experience with SAP IBP Inventory Optimization.
• Experience with CPI-DS integration is required.
• Experience implementing, configuring, maintaining, or enhancing SAP IBP solutions.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, and enterprise planning processes.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise application delivery.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SAP BW or integrations involving other enterprise platforms.
• Experience leading SAP IBP implementations or major enhancement initiatives.
• Background supporting complex enterprise supply chain planning environments.
• Experience driving process improvements and organizational change.
• Strong understanding of inventory optimization strategies and supply planning best practices.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
We need a hands-on SAP IBP functional expert, not someone whose experience is primarily project management, general SAP ERP support, or technical development.
The ideal candidate has personally configured and supported SAP IBP solutions, particularly within Supply & Response Planning and Inventory Optimization, and understands how CPI-DS supports data integration.
