Description
We’re hiring a Senior SAP FICO Analyst in Salem, NH for a hybrid role to do focused on SAP FI/CO, Financial Accounting, Controlling, SAP Finance, ERP transformation, SAP configuration, financial reporting, and business process optimization.
We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SAP FICO analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is critical to our client’s ongoing carve-out and integration initiative, supporting the separation, stabilization, and migration of SAP FI/CO systems and financial processes as the client transitions to full operational independence. As a Sr. FICO Analyst, you will support current Finance and Controlling business processes and design and implement improvements.
You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to understand new requirements, provide expert guidance, and deliver SAP solutions that meet organizational goals — including the time-critical financial systems work required by the carve-out. They offer great benefits, a 9/80 work schedule (9 days over 2 weeks, they work 80hrs having every other Friday off) and career advancement.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP FI/CO system separation, data migration, and stabilization activities as part of our client’s carve-out from its former parent, ensuring financial operations continue without disruption through the transition.
- Lead design and configuration of SAP FI/CO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, including COPA (Profitability Analysis), Product Costing, and Profit Center Accounting.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve module-related issues promptly.
- Manage SAP FICO projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
- Gather and document business requirements; perform gap analysis and propose solutions.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications for configuration and development.
- Support integration points between FI/CO and other modules, including MM and SD.
- Develop and deliver end-user training and best practice guidelines.
- Maintain documentation including user manuals, process flows, and configuration guides.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
Support other SAP team members with FI/CO integration expertise.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 8+ years of SAP experience in FI/CO modules, with extensive knowledge of financial reporting, month-end/year-end close, and controlling processes.
- Experience with SAP system separation, data migration, or ERP carve-out/divestiture projects is a strong plus, given the time-critical nature of this role.
- SAP FICO certification is a big plus.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation, configuration, development, and support.
- Hands-on experience with function modules, enhancements, and user exits.
- Familiarity with BI and data warehouse tools is a plus.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and training skills.
- Ability to develop innovative, efficient solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; team-oriented mindset
