Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, along with a solid understanding of financial management principles. This role is a contractor position that requires a proactive individual who can lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP FICO solutions tailored to the pharmaceutical sector.
Manage and oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
Identify and resolve issues related to financial processes and SAP functionalities.
Stay updated on industry trends and SAP advancements to recommend improvements and innovations.
Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience in SAP FICO with a focus on financial management.
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a must.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical sector.
Project management experience, including Agile methodologies.
Ability to mentor junior team members and provide training on SAP FICO functionalities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
Professional certifications in SAP or financial management are highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
