SAP FICO Consultant to join their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $145,000 - $160,000
Position Overview: The SAP FICO Consultant will design, configure, and optimize SAP FI solutions while helping improve financial processes and overall operational efficiency. The SAP FICO Consultant will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and other business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective SAP solutions. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to support SAP solutions throughout the full implementation and post-go-live lifecycle.
Responsibilities of the SAP FICO Consultant:- Lead and participate in SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations, focusing on SAP FICO configuration and best practices.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Configure SAP FI functionality, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Financial Closing.
- Support Controlling functionality and integration with other SAP modules.
- Design and support integration with SAP modules including CO, MM, and SD to enable end-to-end business processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders through workshops, user training, and change management activities.
- Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide post-go-live support.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and SAP solution optimization.
- Stay current with SAP S/4HANA functionality, industry best practices, and emerging capabilities.
Required Experience/Skills for the SAP FICO Consultant:- 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO Consultant experience, including SAP FICO implementation and support, and at least 2 years working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, financial closing, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and SAP configurations.
- Experience integrating SAP Finance with modules such as CO, MM, and SD, with a strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the SAP FICO Consultant:- Experience with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics.
- SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA certification.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodologies.
- Strong experience supporting workshops, user training, change management, and organizational adoption.
- Experience providing post-go-live support and driving continuous SAP improvements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.
