SAP EAM / PM Lead Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM / PM Lead Consultant to support Plant Maintenance (PM) master data management for Terminal & Pipeline operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP PM master data, including Equipment, Functional Locations, Task Lists, Maintenance Items, and Maintenance Plans.

The consultant will be responsible for creating, maintaining, optimizing, and continuously improving PM master data while working closely with SAP teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP PM master data management for Terminal & Pipeline operations.

• Create and maintain SAP PM master data objects, including:

  • Equipment

  • Functional Locations

  • Maintenance Items

  • Task Lists

  • Maintenance Plans

• Identify and maintain P&ID references for equipment.

• Update and maintain manufacturer information within SAP.

• Create and modify existing PM master data based on business requirements.

• Perform PM master data optimization and data quality improvements.

• Review existing PM master data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Prepare and provide load sheets/templates to the SAP technical team for master data uploads.

• Support data cleansing, validation, and migration activities related to SAP PM.

• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, operations, and SAP teams to ensure accurate and reliable master data.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to SAP PM processes and master data.

• Ensure PM master data aligns with business processes, maintenance strategies, and operational requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP EAM / SAP PM.

• Experience managing SAP PM master data in industrial, energy, oil & gas, terminal, pipeline, or similar environments.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Equipment Master

  • Functional Locations

  • Task Lists

  • Maintenance Items

  • Maintenance Plans

• Experience with P&ID references and equipment identification.

• Experience maintaining manufacturer and equipment-related information in SAP.

• Strong understanding of Plant Maintenance processes and master data structures.

• Experience with SAP master data uploads, templates, and data validation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with business users, maintenance teams, engineering teams, and SAP technical teams.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Terminal & Pipeline operations.

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, or Industrial environments.

• Experience with SAP PM master data migration or data cleansing projects.

• Knowledge of SAP EAM integration with other SAP modules.

• Experience supporting continuous improvement programs.
