We are seeking an experienced SAP Concur Configuration Consultant to support a major federal Travel Expense modernization initiative serving 124 federal civilian agencies.
This is a hands-on functional role focused specifically on SAP Concur configuration, process design, integrations, testing and provider onboarding.
Functional Configuration Process Design: Lead the setup and architecture necessary for external financial-system providers to test API and file-based integrations.
Workflow Definition: Establish end-to-end workflows for provider onboarding, sponsorship, user-access control, and non-production testing.
Testing Documentation: Execute functional testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and author core operating documentation.
Requirements Translation: Convert business and government requirements into functional configurations, process flows, and concrete acceptance criteria.
SAP Concur Experience: 5+ years of hands-on SAP Concur configuration and implementation experience.
Strong experience with Concur Expense and Travel Expense.
Functional Expertise: Deep familiarity with Concur Expense, travel and expense controls, reporting, and core integration points.
Domain Knowledge: Working knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) concepts and federal travel operations.
Testing Access Management: Demonstrated understanding of identity, access management, provider onboarding, and non-production testing concepts.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Clearance Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required; candidate must be clearable to a Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI).
Official SAP Concur Certification.
Prior experience with API, SFTP, or enterprise shared-services environments.
Experience with E-Gov Travel Service (ETS) or GSA travel reporting.
This is a SAP Concur role — not a general SAP ERP/FICO configuration position.
