Title: SAP BDC & Databricks Architect
Duration: 6-12 months with possible extension

Salary Range: $50 -$55 an hour on W2/C2C
Job Description:
Seeking a SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & SAP Databricks Solution Architect to support an enterprise SAP BDC Proof of Concept. The resource should have hands-on experience implementing SAP BDC| SAP Databricks| and Datasphere| with the ability to guide architecture decisions| AI/ML use cases| and best practices.Hands-on implementation experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). Strong implementation experience with SAP Databricks. Good working knowledge of SAP Datasphere| including: Data Modeling Replication & Transformation Flows Data Products BDC Connect / Delta Sharing Experience with AI/ML implementation using Databricks (Python| Spark| MLflow| SQL). Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) SAP S/4HANA CDS Views Finance Analytics / FP&A use cases Forecasting or AI/ML implementation experience Experience supporting SAP BDC POCs and enterprise implementations
Essential Skills: Hands-on implementation experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). Strong implementation experience with SAP Databricks. Good working knowledge of SAP Datasphere| including: Data Modeling Replication & Transformation Flows Data Products BDC Connect / Delta Sharing Experience with AI/ML implementation using Databricks (Python| Spark| MLflow| SQL). Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.
Key Responsibilities-
· Design and implement AI/ML use cases using Databricks, including model development, experimentation, validation, and deployment.
· Work with SAP BDC/Datasphere data products and prepare data for downstream AI/ML workloads.
· Define best practices for data engineering, feature preparation, model development, ML lifecycle management, and productionization.
· Provide technical guidance on Databricks architecture, performance, scalability, and governance.
· Collaborate with SPE's SAP/BDC and Finance teams to translate business problems into practical AI/ML solutions.
· Mentor the customer team and serve as the technical point of reference for AI/ML during the PoC.
Mandatory Skills
· Strong hands-on Databricks AI/ML implementation experience.
· Expert-level Python / PySpark / Spark SQL.
· Hands-on experience with MLflow and ML model lifecycle management.
· Experience with:
o Predictive analytics
o Time-series forecasting
o Feature engineering
o Model training and evaluation
o Model tuning and deployment
· Experience building scalable data pipelines for ML workloads.
· Strong understanding of Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, and data engineering.
· Customer-facing solution design / technical leadership experience.
· Ability to lead a PoC independently and recommend implementation patterns.
