Job Title: SAP Architect Contractor

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP Architect Contractor to join a leading organization in the utility sector. In this role, you will contribute to designing and implementing SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA, to meet business requirements and align with architectural standards. You will also provide strategic direction, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP solutions to meet business needs.
- Define interaction requirements for components, subsystems, and interfaces within the SAP ecosystem.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance on SAP development and production fixes.
- Ensure alignment of business and technology requirements with enterprise design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define vision, requirements, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and recommendations related to Customer Service business processes and operational performance.
- Document business requirements and support compliance with applicable regulatory, operational, and internal control requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for device management and service order processes.
- Act as a liaison between the business area and technical support organizations.
- Support business process analysis, procedure development, workflow optimization, and implementation of operational improvements.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of utility Customer Service operations and SAP utility system processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
- Advanced knowledge of FieldForce and Meter Data Management systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in SAP architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with query and reporting tools and data analysis.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary & Benefits
Max rate is $104.00/hr. Priority will be given to candidates within the Binghamton, NY area.
