Description

Title: SAP Logistics Analyst
Duration: 6 Months with extension
Location: 25810 Clawiter Rd, Hayward, Clawiter, CA 94545

The SAP Logistics Analyst is responsible for maintaining and improving the material planning and logistics master data that supports operational execution. This role ensures parts are accurately created, extended, and maintained in SAP so planning teams can effectively manage inventory, execute stock transfers, and maintain material availability across service locations.
This role is critical to supporting fleet uptime by ensuring the right materials, planning parameters, and system data are in place before operational needs arise. The analyst partners closely with Serviceability, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and SAP technical teams to drive master data accuracy, improve processes, and enable scalable service operations.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong ownership of data quality and process improvement. Success in this role requires the ability to manage large datasets, identify gaps, and drive cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Own and maintain material planning and logistics master data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and visibility across SAP systems.
  • Manage part extensions and planning data across multiple locations, ensuring materials are available for replenishment activities.
  • Partner with Finance, SAP technical teams, Engineering, and Operations to ensure materials are properly configured, including plant extensions, costing requirements, and planning parameters.
  • Establish and maintain inventory planning parameters, including safety stock levels, to support service location requirements and fleet readiness.
  • Proactively identify material master data gaps and drive corrective actions to enable STO creation, inventory transfers, and replenishment execution.
  • Identify and resolve SAP data discrepancies affecting demand, supply, and inventory visibility by performing root cause analysis and coordinating corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Track large-scale part extension activities, monitor progress, and drive completion across stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance master data processes, system accuracy, and planning efficiency.
  • Analyze data quality issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions that improve material availability and operational execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2 4 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, inventory management, master data, or ERP systems.
  • Experience managing material master data, part setup, plant extensions, or planning parameters in SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets, track progress, and develop reports.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of data and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity, and drive process improvements.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Material Master, MRP, Inventory Management, or Logistics modules.
  • Experience supporting service or fleet operations.
  • Experience establishing safety stock, replenishment parameters, or inventory strategies.
