Summary:
Client is the in to building solutions and manufacturing industry giant and into related products in North America. The S4 HANA Green field implementation is in progress in phased go live approach. Client is implementing key global S4 HANA implementation template for all plants.
Responsibilities:
The SAP Activate Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of an SAP S/4HANA Upgrade Program using SAP Activate and Agile methodologies. This role is responsible for project governance, planning, stakeholder alignment, risk and financial management, cross-functional team leadership, quality assurance, compliance (SOX/ITGC/GRC), testing oversight, and ensuring a successful cutover and go-live
Key Responsibilities:
· Establish project organization, governance, and operating models.
· Staff Scrum roles and cross-functional teams.
· Define project vision, business value objectives, KPIs, and quality gates.
· Lead Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Reviews, Retros.
· Well versed with CALM and all Activated methodology/ principles and guidelines should have implemented in previous projects
· Ensure adherence to SAP Activate phases.
· Develop and manage program plans, scope, milestones, risks, and budgets.
· Maintain status reports, RAID logs, MoMs, and documentation.
· Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
· Coordinate with functional, technical, and vendor teams.
· Communicate with leadership and steering committees.
· Identify and mitigate risks.
· Ensure compliance with SOX, ITGC, GRC.
· Maintain audit documentation.
· Proven record as an agent of change capable of building and motivating high-performing organizations
· Implement quality assurance processes and gates.
· Oversee FUT, SIT, UAT, and Regression test cycles.
· Ensure readiness checks and simplification impacts.
· Manage sizing, capacity planning, sandbox evaluation.
· Govern defect lifecycle and test sign-offs.
· Lead technical upgrade planning and execution.
· Conduct impact analysis and preparation.
· Drive cutover planning, simulations, and downtime optimization.
· Manage hyper care and stabilization.
· Primary stakeholder contact.
· Lead governance meetings and reviews.
· Support OCM, training, and adoption tracking.
· Maintain strong business relationships.

Requirements:
· At least 10+ years in SAP project management
· Must have worked in core SAP module as functional/technical consultant
· SAP Activate Certification mandatory.
· -5+ implementations, 3+ upgrades.
· Experience with GRC, SOX, IT Controls, Security.
· Strong financial and compliance knowledge.
· Multi-regional delivery experience.
· Interview Duration around 45 mins
· Client COE team will conduct the interview
· May start with Process oriented questions
· In depth evaluation of specific module (technically/functionally)
· May ask to Showcase/narrate any complex/challenging project/deliverables worked in the tenure
· Make sure to ask logical/professional Qs to the Client at the end
STRONG PREFERANCE FOR 100% ON-SITE
Open to Remote if candidate is open to customer office 1 or 2 weeks / month , expenses will be paid.
