Description

Overview
Client is transforming business operations through SAP S/4HANA ERP implementations focused on standardized processes and improved operational efficiency. This role supports the Plan-to-Stock Value Stream and collaborates with multiple SAP functional areas including Product Lifecycle Management System Integration (PLMSI), Production Engineering Optimization/Operations (PEO), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS), Transportation Management (TM), Delivery and Transportation (T&D), Customer Sell-Off (CSO), Warehouse Management (WM), Inventory Management (IM), Material Management (MM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Master Schedule/Demand Management (MS/DM), and Global Trade Services (GTS).
The SAP Developer will contribute to the design, development, integration, and support of SAP solutions, working closely with scrum teams and partner technology groups to deliver scalable, sustainable applications and system integrations.

Core Responsibilities
• Define and support how data is transmitted and received between SAP and integrated systems.
• Support proof-of-concept activities and evaluate proposed code changes for feasibility, sustainability, and minimized technical debt.
• Participate in software development scoping and sizing activities for RICEWF requirements.
• Review functional and technical specifications for quality, scalability, and programmability.
• Collaborate with middleware teams to design optimal integration approaches across multiple systems.
• Partner with Plan-to-Stock IT developers to address complex technical design decisions, product evaluations, and development challenges.
• Work with partner technology teams to achieve project and delivery objectives.
• Design, develop, and deploy SAP enhancements, forms, interfaces, custom screens, custom tables, RAP applications, and BADI implementations.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Proven SAP design and development experience in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Technical expertise in Transportation Management (TM), Delivery and Transportation (T&D), and/or Customer Sell-Off (CSO).
• Experience with Process Controller Strategies, WebDynpro/Floorplan Manager, Business Object Processing Framework (BOBF), and Postprocessing Framework (PPF).
• Experience supporting large-scale SAP implementations.
• Strong ABAP development experience.
• Experience with SAP design and development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead collaborative efforts across teams.

Preferred Skills or Experience
• Experience with Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), ABAP Development Tools (ADT), ALV, Adobe Forms, ALE/IDOC, RFC/BAPI, BADI/enhancements, Workflow, LSMW/LTMC, CDS Views (including Table Functions and Virtual Elements), AMDP, AIF, and DRF.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, JavaScript, Git, Web IDE/Client, and related SAP technologies.
• Experience integrating SAP solutions using SOAP through SOA Manager, OData services, IDOCs, and Proxies.
• Focused Build experience.
• RF screen development experience.

Work Details
• Work schedule: 4/10-A.
• Security clearance not required (must  be open to obtaining)
• Project phases include Planning, Functional Specifications, Development Unit Testing, Functional Unit Testing, ITC, UAT, Training, Cutover, and annual Go-Live activities.
