SAP ABAP OO Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications and custom solutions. The ideal candidate has strong object-oriented ABAP development experience, a solid understanding of software development best practices, and the ability to deliver high-quality, testable code within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP applications and enhancements.
- Develop object-oriented ABAP solutions following established coding standards and best practices.
- Write unit tests and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to ensure code quality.
- Create maintainable and testable code while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO).
- Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and ABAP unit testing.
- Experience developing testable, maintainable, and high-quality ABAP code.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- SAP ABAP training or certification.
- Completion of training related to writing testable ABAP code.
- Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA development, or related SAP technologies.
- Familiarity with SAP financial or lending modules.
- Experience with enterprise job scheduling and workload automation tools.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and modern software development methodologies.
