We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented QA Sanitation Technician to help maintain high standards of cleanliness, product quality, and food safety. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing sanitation activities, conducting quality assurance inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sanitation activities throughout the facility to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary food production environment.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and identify potential food safety or cleanliness issues.
- Complete and maintain accurate sanitation logs, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company food safety procedures.
- Identify, report, and help resolve sanitation deficiencies, contamination risks, and other quality concerns.
- Work closely with production and QA teams to maintain sanitation standards and support daily food safety operations.
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience in food manufacturing, food processing, sanitation, or quality assurance.
- Must have ability to follow established sanitation procedures, food safety guidelines, and written work instructions.
- Must have ability to complete documentation accurately and maintain detailed records of inspections and sanitation activities.
- Must have HACCP or other food safety qualifications (such as ServSafe)
- Must have ability to work in a food production environment and perform routine sanitation duties, including standing for extended periods and handling cleaning supplies and equipment.
