    3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor

    Philadelphia, PA | Direct Hire

    BlackRock Resources is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor to join a leading food manufacturing operation in the Philadelphia area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with food manufacturing and sanitation experience who is passionate about food safety, team development, and operational excellence.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead, train, and supervise sanitation team members on 3rd shift

    • Ensure the facility meets all sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements

    • Execute sanitation schedules and maintain compliance with SSOPs

    • Manage and update the Master Sanitation Schedule

    • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability

    • Partner with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to support plant objectives

    • Train and develop both new and experienced employees

    • Monitor sanitation effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives

    • Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, GMP, and food safety standards

    • Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols

    What We're Looking For

    • 2–3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment

    • Experience in food manufacturing and food safety programs

    • Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, and food plant operations

    • Experience with sanitation processes and pest control programs in a food manufacturing environment

    • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

    • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring PPE and exposure to noise

    • Comfortable working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks when needed
