The Sanitation Supervisor oversees sanitation operations, staff, and compliance within a production environment. This role ensures all cleaning processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements are met while supporting efficient plant operations and audit readiness.
This is a full time position that works a 12 hour shift every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, assign, and supervise sanitation team workflow and daily activities
  • Maintain sanitation schedules, chemical inventories, and proper documentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, HACCP, and safety regulations
  • Train employees on sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and safety practices
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and environmental testing (swabbing)
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate pest control activities and track trends
  • Support production schedules and collaborate with other departments
  • Manage employee performance, scheduling, and timekeeping
  • Prepare for and support third-party and customer audits
Requirements:
  • Prior Experience in leadership role in sanitation, food manufacturing, or production environments required.
  • Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, SQF, GMP) and regulatory compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to train and supervise employees effectively
