Sanitation & Cleaning Associate - Food Processing Facility
Job Summary
Our client, a leading food distribution and processing company, is seeking Sanitation & Cleaning Associates to join their team in Warrendale, PA. Three positions are available. This is a full-time, contract role responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment and facilities in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment to required standards
- Perform general custodial work and dishwashing throughout the facility
- Maintain facility cleanliness, including sweeping, squeegeeing, and grounds cleanup
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and consistently use required PPE
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment
- Maintain organization and upkeep of production areas
Required Qualifications
- Janitorial or custodial experience (0-3 years)
- Knowledge of chemical handling and safe PPE use
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment
- Experience cleaning and sanitizing in a food processing or production environment
- Strong reliability and attendance record
- Ability to work independently and follow sanitation procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or food service sanitation
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- Forklift or equipment operation experience
About the Role
- Contract duration: 3,120 hours (long-term contract)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM (overnight shift)
- Hours: 8 per day / 40 per week
- Location: Warrendale, PA (on-site; no travel required)
