Job Summary:
Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking reliable and hardworking Sanitation Associates to support warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization in Calera, AL. This is a contract position with the potential to transition to permanent full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities:
" Maintain cleanliness throughout designated warehouse areas.
" Travel throughout assigned warehouse sections to collect and remove larger debris such as wood pieces, shrink wrap, label backings, and other warehouse waste materials.
" Move pallets as needed to clean underneath and around storage areas.
" Dust warehouse racks and storage locations.
" Mop and clean spilled products and other floor hazards.
" Empty, clean, and sanitize trash receptacles.
Required Qualifications:
" Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
" Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout shift.
" Dependable attendance.
" Knowledge of safety and cleanliness compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
" Previous warehouse or sanitation experience.
About the Role:
" Contract duration: 520 hours (approximately 3 months).
" Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
" Location: Calera, AL 35040.
" Travel: None.
