Sandwich Artist

The Subway Sandwich Artists are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality sandwiches and other menu items in accordance with company standards. This position also ensures the restaurant remains clean, organized, and fully stocked to provide an excellent dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, wraps, and other menu items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Take customer orders accurately and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, dining area, and kitchen equipment.
• Stock food ingredients, paper goods, beverages, and supplies throughout each shift.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including food preparation, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
