Sand Mix Operator
Elgin, Texas
Red River Brick is hiring a Sand Mix Operator for our plant in Elgin, Texas. This is a hands-on job in a fast-paced factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run equipment that mixes sand and clay for brick production
- Weigh materials using the correct formula
- Watch equipment and make small adjustments when needed
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Follow all safety rules
- Help with other tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or machine experience is helpful
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and reading skills
- Dependable and able to work alone or with a team
- Willing to work flexible hours when needed
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 100 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, climb, and do physical work during the shift
- Work around noise, dust, moving equipment, and slippery floors
