Description

Our Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Leading all field operations on Life Sciences and Healthcare projects.
  • Managing laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotech, clean room, healthcare, and research facility construction.
  • Driving project schedules and maintaining accountability for critical milestones.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, engineers, consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Managing complex MEP installations and equipment integration.
  • Developing and maintaining short-term look-ahead schedules and overall project execution plans.
  • Leading subcontractor meetings and site coordination efforts.
  • Overseeing quality assurance, commissioning activities, and project turnover.
  • Maintaining project safety and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Driving projects to completion while meeting schedule, quality, and budget objectives.

Profile

The ideal Superintendent will have:

  • 8+ years of Superintendent experience in Life Sciences, Laboratory, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Healthcare construction.
  • Stable tenure with established technical construction contractors.
  • Proven experience leading projects valued up to $40M+.
  • Demonstrated success overseeing projects from preconstruction planning through final turnover.
  • Extensive experience with laboratory, biotech, pharmaceutical, cGMP, clean room, or research facilities.
  • Strong scheduling and planning expertise with the ability to manage critical path activities.
  • Deep understanding of MEP-intensive projects and complex building systems.
  • Exceptional subcontractor management and field leadership capabilities.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Proven ability to independently lead sophisticated technical projects.
