    Reporting into the regional Services Manager, the Technical Lead, working closely with Solutions Architects, Consultants, Project Managers, and other Services colleagues, is responsible for successfully owning the technical delivery of our products and solutions in both, pre- and post-sales, customer engagements.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Strategic:

    • Trusted advisor to our customers, account managers, services leaders, project managers, and delivery teams.
    • Maintain and assume accountability for a culture of high customer service.
    • Effectively contribute to the digitization & digitalization of our customers through successful technical delivery.
    • Share knowledge, mentor, and guide technical personnel to improve and strengthen team capabilities.
    • Engage with support, product management, and engineering as needed to get product technical issues addressed.

    Operational:

    • Take technical ownership of customer-facing project delivery, and lead solutions design, architecture, configuration and implementation work for our products and solutions to meet customer needs.
    • Effectively partner with Solutions Architects, Consultants, and Project Managers to plan and track project delivery, allocate and oversee technical work to resources, and deliver high-quality work on-time, on-budget.
    • Be the primary technical point of contact for the customer, including to lead scoping, design, and other workshops.
    • Engage in pre- and post-sales project activities and contribute effectively to reviewing customer requirements, authoring RFP responses, requirements trace matrices, functional & technical specification documents, testing & validation plans, installation & user documentation, and other relevant technical project deliverables.
    • Contribute to improving processes, ensuring compliance, and driving improvements.
    • Travel, as needed, for internal and customer meetings.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Experience in all aspects of enterprise laboratory informatics technical solutions design and implementation for ELN, LIMS, SDMS, CDS, instrument and systems integration, amongst others.
    • Experience with relational databases - Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres - and programming - C#, VGL.
    • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment, across internal and external resources and regions.
    • Understanding of SDLC, Quality and IT processes in the context of delivering and supporting validated systems.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, and credibility.
    • Results focused, with a demonstrated track record of getting things done.
    • Attention to detail and a concern for quality.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Collaborative, initiates and facilitates communications and relevant information sharing, and works with different functions to achieve the best outcomes.
    • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate communications with global team.

    Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, IS, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent.
    • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in enterprise software technical implementation projects, preferably in professional services with a life & laboratory science software product/ technology services company.
