Job Description:
Title: Sample Prep & Logistics Assistant
Location: Research Triangle Park, NC
Duration: 0-3 Months
Shift: M-F 6: 00 AM to 3: 30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour
Work schedule is Monday thru Thursday working 9 hours per day and a half day on Friday (4 hours)
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of agriculture research samples
- Inventory and order management support
- Picking, packing, and shipping of agriculture samples
- Record keeping and documentation per department guidelines
- Support activities related to sample logistics
- Requirements Proven record of reliability as a dependable team player that shows up to work each day
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document activities accurately and responsibly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and good lab practices
- Ability to adhere to all safe work practices and wear appropriate PPE
Experience:
- 1-2 years'experience in a production type environment is required.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
