    Sample Administrator – Job Duties
     
    Job Summary:
    The Sample Administrator provides essential support to the Sample Department, Sales Manager, and the Territory and Program Managers by managing the Samples Budget, updating the Sample Order Form and scheduling monthly launches by working with the appropriate internal personnel. This role ensures timely, accurate, and efficient service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
     
    The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, exceptional organizations and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Success in this position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
     
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Process all sample orders requests with accuracy and within established guidelines. Interaction with the Sales Team, including emails and phone calls.
    • Providing a high level of customer service to IWT’s external customers and internal customers (other departments within IWT), including, but not limited to, performing tasks in an efficient manner that meets or exceeds standards.
    • Create new sequence numbers, labels, spec sheets, item codes, and room scenes for various sample items.
    • Coordinate and schedule monthly launch meetings.
    • Work with necessary parties to prepare for trade shows including kick-off meetings and arranging for materials needed for the trade show booth.
    • Focus on safety in the workplace. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
    • Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed on overall inventory issues.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
    Qualifications or Skills Required:
    • Advanced computer / technological skills required.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft programs including Excel and Outlook; ability to learn Kerridge program. Prior experience in Order Entry process preferred
    • Above average attention to detail and a high level of accuracy of work performance is required.
    • Above average organizational skills are a must, and the individual should possess the ability to thrive working at a fast pace in an environment that will have multiple distractions. Able to produce under pressure and multi-task.
    • Professional demeanor – excellent verbal and written communication skills required and the ability to conduct oneself appropriately with people at all levels of the company as well as with external contacts.
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and sit for long periods of time.
    • Must be comfortable to work in an environment that has machinery noise, dust, and heat from the outside weather.
    Experience:
    • 1 year experience preferred

    Schedule:
    • Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
    • 8-hour shifts – ½ hour unpaid lunch break
    Rate of Pay:
    • $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
