About the Role:
Studio on Willow is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salon Assistant to join our team in Little Silver, NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career in the beauty industry while working alongside talented professionals in a dynamic, creative salon environment.



Responsibilities:

• Assist stylists and colorists with client services, including shampooing, conditioning, and scalp treatments
• Greet and check in clients, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable salon experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon floor, styling stations, and backbar
• Mix and apply color formulas and toning treatments under stylist supervision
• Manage towel inventory, laundry, and replenishment of salon supplies
• Schedule appointments and answer phones as needed
• Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth salon operations

Requirements:

• Cosmetology school enrollment or licensure preferred but not required
• Passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Flexible availability including weekends
