A Salesforce Technical Project Manager (TPM) for Service and Experience Cloud is a delivery focused leader responsible for the execution, technical integrity, and successful rollout of customer facing Salesforce solutions. Unlike a Product Owner who focuses on "what" to build, the TPM focuses on "how" and "when" it gets built, managing the technical team and project constraints.

  • End to End Delivery: Lead the complete project lifecycle from technical discovery through to deployment and post implementation support.
  • Technical Governance: Oversee technical architecture, ensuring solutions for Service Cloud (e.g., Omni Channel, Case Management) and Experience Cloud (e.g., Portals, CMS) follow best practices.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify technical blockers, manage dependencies across cross functional teams, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Integration Oversight: Manage complex integrations between Salesforce and third party systems (ERP, middleware like MuleSoft, or data platforms).
  • Resource & Financial Planning: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and burn rates to ensure delivery within approved costs.
